Dennis Caldwell has an Associates of Science degree in Graphic Art and Design from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1984. He worked for advertising agencies and art departments in the Chicago, Illinois area from 1984-1989. In 1989 he started his own company, Caldwell Design Associates in Tucson, Arizona where he now resides.

Dennis was born in Arizona and grew up spending a lot of time outdoors. He has a deep underlying interest in the natural world, especially the Sonoran Desert and it's native fauna. He has been involved with many conservation organizations and University of Arizona research projects in Arizona and Mexico and has donated many hours of his time, artwork, and photography to these organizations.
